Showgirl Sunday: Esther Williams - Fox had Sonja Henie (who will soon be featured) and MGM needed their own athletic star, luckily they discovered Williams. She was every bit of glam and grace both out and in the water. If you’ve never seen her films please do! I am constantly wowed by her ability and ease of skill. Showgirl Sunday : You could call Lucille Ball the patron saint of my troupe. One thing see when I look at any of her photos, shows, or movies is that glamour was never traded in for comedy… She might be covered in chocolate or grapes in the end, but the setup was gorgeous. I have been “natural” for two years! After 20+ years of having my hair chemically straightened I got off the creamy crack! Oprah had the prettiest hair on TV, in my opinion, and the day I discovered she didn’t relax it clicked that I’d probably have the hair I wanted if I got off the junk.
